Venlo multi span plastic film greenhouse is built on a hot dip galvanized steel frame and covered with PO or PEP film that passes 85 to 95 percent of sunlight. Spans run from 8 to 12 m, with gutter height from 3 to 4.5 m and top height from 6 to 8 m, so the house fits commercial vegetable, flower, seedling and mixed farming use. Roof vents, side vents or automated ventilation control temperature and humidity, while the UV resistant coating limits sun damage and keeps the plastic service life at about three years. The frame is anchored on a concrete foundation or ground posts, and the modular design can be extended span by span as the farm grows.
