Product Overview
This arch type film greenhouse is laid out for orchid growers who need floor space more than anything else: the arch span keeps the interior clear of columns, so benches, hanging beds and trolleys can be arranged without working around supports. Span runs 8 to 12 meters with gutter height 3 to 4.5 meters. Covering is multi-layer polyethylene from 0.08 to 0.2 mm depending on the winter the house has to hold, and it passes 85 to 90 percent of daylight in diffused form, which is why orchid foliage is far less likely to scorch under it than under a clear film. Humidity is the daily battle in an orchid house, so side vents, roof vents or roll-up curtains are fitted to move moist air out quickly, while the air pockets between film layers keep temperature from collapsing overnight.
