A Venlo glass greenhouse is a multi span commercial greenhouse covered with clear glass and supported by a galvanized steel frame, built for hydroponic and soil crop production at commercial scale. The glass cover allows 90 percent to 95 percent light transmission, giving plants steady natural light through the year while protecting them from wind, rain and pests. Roof vents and side vents, or fully automated systems, control temperature and humidity inside the house, and optional heating such as boilers or radiant heating extends the growing season in cold climates. The modular multi span design is easy to expand and can be fitted with internal shading, cooling pads and irrigation systems. Standard span width runs from 8 m to 12 m, gutter height from 3 m to 4.5 m and top height from 6 m to 8 m, with length built to your order. Typical uses include vegetable and flower production, seedling nurseries and hydroponic farming.
