Green HDPE shade nets are warp knitted from 100 percent virgin HDPE and used over farms, gardens, orchards and leisure areas to cut light and heat. Shade rates from 30 percent to 95 percent and weights from 30 gsm to 320 gsm let growers match light to each crop, and the knitted mesh keeps air moving while blocking direct sun. The covering also works as a windbreak, frost cover, hail guard and temporary fence, and can cut cooling and heating demand by around 30 percent. Widths of 2 m to 8 m and customer lengths are cut in green, black, blue, white or beige. Service life reaches 3 to 5 years outdoors. Typical buyers are farms, orchards, nurseries and greenhouse operators.
